It sure was a leap day that I will never forget that is for certain. Here is the deal my wife and I were married on February 29...so technically it was our 1st anniversary yesterday. Really it was our 4th year of marriage, I cannot believe that it has been that long already. The time sure has been flying by at the rate of ludicrous speed..:) We do celebrate it the day on March 1st usually, because both of our birthdays fall in the month of March.
Our part of Wisconsin has been spoiled for most the winter with limited amount of snow thus far. That did change yesterday. We received about 10 to 12 inches of snow yesterday. It was the nice heave waterlogged snow as well. I was not able to go to work. So my wife and I were able to spent the day together. I was unexpected, but it was nice.
I know that we will never forget this day for the year the to come.

Happy anniversary! You missed a trick there; you could have gotten away with forgetting the anniversary for three years running!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! What a neat day to get married, what made you pick leap day when you got married? Even though the snow may have sucked, at least you got a great together day with your wife. :)
ReplyDeleteI too live in Wisconsin, near Appleton Area. I know what you mean about the snow. We have been "spoiled" with no harsh weather really at all this year. You must be further north of me though, we just missed that big drop you talked about. We got the lovely sleet/freezing rain/rain/snow mix icky stuff. However, later yesterday afternoon through the night was pretty snow filled and it's still snowing. Not really sure how much we got, but it was supposed to be 6 to 8 inches. We got the lovely wind with all that too. I hate winter. LOL, but I must say I like this winter. :)
ah, nice! A very creative day to get married. :) I am glad that you were able to spend your anniversary together.
ReplyDeleteJamie- Opps I guess that I dropped the ball on that trick. I guess I will have to ask my wife to reconsider when we celebrate..lol.
ReplyDeleteAngie-We both were just thinking of a day that people were sure to remember. Leap Day was that day. Most of my friends and co-workers do not even have to think on 2-29.
Kailana- I am sure glad that we were able to spend the day together especially with us probably not seeing each other time 8 PM, if it were not far the nice little snowstorm.
I would like to thank everyone of the wonderful anniversary wishes..:)
